It's the 1961 Mitchell Company 26-page Mitchell 35mm High Speed Camera Manual,
for properly Operating and Servicing a MITCHELL 35mm High Speed motion picture camera.
A High Speed Mitchell is a 0-128 fps, pin-registered, rock-steady, (still!) state-of-the-art 35mm movie camera, THE Hollywood
Special Effects and Live Action Camera.
The ones made for the US Government are called "GC," or
"Government Camera," but its civilian name, in Hollywood and
studios around the world, is "High Speed" or
"Standard / High Speed."
(A Mitchell "High Speed" Camera is similar to the "Standard,"
but the High Speed has hardened ball-bearings, for high-speed
cinematography.)
Its patents are from from 1927, but I think nobody has
EVER made a better 35mm movie camera, before or since.
As the slogan went:
"85% of all Hollywood Motion Pictures
are shot with a MITCHELL!"
Well this is the Mitchell High Speed "BIBLE."
It's got
Users Manual (practically a film school in a book)
Parts List (you could build one from the illustrations)
Maintenance Instructions (keep it in tip-top shape)
Electrical Diagrams
Threading Diagrams
Variable-Shutter Exposure Chart
High-Speed Operation Lens Stop Conversion Chart
Troubleshooting Guide (if something goes wrong)
