It's the 1972 26-page ARRIFLEX 35mm BL Camera User's Guide,
for properly operating and maintaining a ARRIFLEX 35mm BL camera.
An ARRIFLEX is the legendary self-blimped,
dual-pin-registered, handholdable, reflex movie camera,
manufactured by the great Arriflex company of Germany.
Born in 1972, the Arriflex 35mm BL struck a death blow to the
huge, heavy studio cameras then in use. It was the forerunner
of the modern Arriflex, the Panaflex, and other modern
35mm movie cameras.
The Arriflex BL was revolutionary, and was (unlike today's Arriflexes),
even capable of high speed photography - 100 frames/second!
The Arriflex BL is still in use today, shooting many independent features.
If you are lucky enough to find one, the ARRI BL will make you
a self-sufficient filmmaker!
